Explaining the list of things Non Flat Earth believers want answered - by Michael Flipp My attempt to answer 30 of the many question about Flat Earth, But my basis for these answers is the truth of the Bible and Creation by God. See the list of proof scriptures at the end of this article. I got this list of of Twitter, I am not sure who made the list, but I see it being posted here and there so I decided to answer the ones I could.

  • 1. We can see a horizon.
    This seems like an obvious one right? I should be able to look out and see across the terrain forever if it's flat, right? But the sky and the ground always converge to eye level. Eye level always has a horizon at eye level. And things left will come to the center and the things right will also come to center like a train track or telephone poles. Eventually everything shrinks to the horizon beyond what any zoom camera can see. Even light itself.

  • 2. Why Objects disappear bottom first as they recede into the distance.
    The mirage appearing like glass is always bottom up, it happens on a flat bridge, a flat road and bodies of water. It gets that reflective mirror like effect we have all seen mimicking water.

  • 3. Why no zoom lens or telescope can brings things back into view.
    Well to a point they can, and they have. We have proof of the sun setting half way, and then zooming in and its well above the horizon. Boats beyond our sight, can be brought back into plain view. But even these zooms have a limit, eventually light, refraction and humidity in the atmosphere all take it's toll, but surprisingly, they still zoom into things beyond what the natural supposed curve of the earth would allow, and this is probably the most damaging evidence against the globe model. Using 8 inches per mile squared as a formula for the earth having a circumference of 25k. So at 20 miles, squared =400 x 8 = 3200 inches or 266 feet. We can see things at this distance and there is not 266 feet missing. Only sometimes, depending on atmospheric conditions, you may get the number 2 effect above, but it still should not be able to be seen AT ALL, and yet they are like, well, the bottom is gone over the curve, well what's more important to prove, the mirage of the bottom being gone, OR the rest of a building still being able to be see PERIOD? What disproves the curve more?

  • 4. Why the Sun and Moon Set and Rise.
    Just like in number 1 above, EVERYTHING comes to eye level. Watch a time lapse of the sunrise or the sun set, it shows the sun coming at you until it goes overhead and goes away from you. Let's take a plane with a CHEM or Vapor Trail, you will see that rise from the horizon, go over head and then set also, and the whole time it will be 35,000 feet. If the Sun and Moon are higher than a plane, it will take longer to rise and set. Best guess I have seen so far of the actual height of the sun and moon, 300 - 500 miles high. It is a guess.

  • 5. Why the apparent size of the sun and moon does not change throughout the day.
    If you watch a time lapse, especially with a filter (sun is very bright), it does appear to grow as it comes toward you, and shrink as it goes away from you. There has to be conditions which allow the sun and moon to grow and shrink because of other atmospheric events as well, we have all seen a larger moon, a larger sunset, why does that happen? Same kind of thing. Some conditions will let you see the sun shrink as it sets, but it is a very large object still, and the distance of the sun and moon almost equals out before its light goes out of view, so there wont be a lot of size difference, but with a filter, AND a zoom, you will see size difference at sunset and sunrise.

  • 6. Why the apparent angular velocities of the sun and moon do not change.
    I am thinking about the argument on this one and it must be referring to the time that it takes to rise and set along its path? So maybe they are stating why does it take longer in summer vs winter? Globe theory is a 23.4 tilt leaving a 66.6 degree balance. (interesting number) The Flat Earth theory on this is that the Sun goes around the outside of the circle and then moves to an inner circle path. I may have missed the argument.

  • 7. Why physically measured differences cannot be plotted accurately on a flat map.
    I don't think they have an accurate calculation to compare. I have seen a calculator. What measurement is the calculator using? I see some use flight times. Really? They make up speed in air or slow down. Not sure they have equally and fairly measured this. I would be willing to view more evidences of this.

  • 8. Why the tropic of Capricorn is a shorter distance than the equator.
    This is only an issue if you believe that the Stars are WAY WAY out in SPACE. Since flat earth believers do not believe this, the issue then remain the same as light and the rising and setting sun, going out of your eyesight due to distance on the low horizon. Why cant you see all the constellations, All the time? Answer - Distance of light traveling over the horizon, even low objects near the horizon won't be seen very far away due to perspective, same principle that the Sun sets, because its light cannot reach beyond a certain distance.

  • 9. Why certain constellation are only visible in north and south hemispheres.
    Same answer as 8. Distance light can travel through our atmosphere is limited.

  • 10. Why a close moon is inverted in the southern hemisphere in with the exact same face showing.
    This is really cool, and I am betting that this may be the number one Globe Killer when fully figured out. We don't actually understand it fully quite yet but here is the thing about the moon. Its face always faces earth, it never rotates around showing the dark side of the mon if you will. The moon is NOT a solid body that we have landed on. It is most likely a projection. And that is what we always see the same face. People are now filming the moon rise and go overhead and coming down and they are starting to notice something. It rotates differently as it rises then when it sets, (because it is getting farther away!) Which would make complete sense on a projection. Now get this, they have video now of the moon actually rotating its face over 20 degrees in a very short time span of less than 15 minutes and they are trying to narrow this down and get more footage. Stay tuned for this breaking evidence! It will blow the Globe out of the water.

  • 11. What stars appear to rotate around 2 celestial poles.
    The fact that they rotate around Polaris, and have never moved is amazing in itself. All those stars trillions of miles away and they are all moving out at different rates of amazing speeds, in different directions, at different levels, and yet they all spin around Polaris? WOW, Really? To me that is huge proof of a stationary earth. The southern sky has that same "distance through atmosphere" problem I have been mentioning. There have been videos showing the 2 star patterns rotating. You can see they both distort near the horizon because of the atmosphere.

  • 12. Where rockets go after launch.
    Well we know that NO rocket has EVER gone straight up into Space. That seems very fishy. None, ever? Hmmmm. If you wanted to hide something, would you send it to the far away ocean, or try to smack it into the Dome wall near the edge? Watch videos on operation Fish Bowl, and ask yourself, Huh? What? Woah - why did they do that?

  • 13. How to simulate microgravity for extended periods.
    Have you not seen astronots hanging in front of green screen wires? Why are they lying about that? Have you not seen the bubbles come up from space walk shots? Pools of green screen, and have you not seen the fake hairdos of the women in space, pretending their hair is floating? Its not floating like that without waving, it like a stiff brick! Hairspray. It is so obvious.

  • 14. How GPS works in the open ocean
    I have not seen this to be able to respond to it. I do know that signals do bounce off of the atmosphere. I cannot attest to how accurate anything of GPS is way way out in the deep oceans.

  • 15. Earthquakes, continental drift, subduction zones, rift valleys and volcanoes.
    There was a flood, when God opened the windows of heaven. Check the part in red out!
    In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
    2And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
    3And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
    4And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.
    5And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.
    6And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.
    7And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.
    8And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.     Notice there is not a Sun, Moon or Stars created yet. But when they are, THEY ARE ALSO PUT INSIDE the firmament! And there is WATER above the Firmament, of which God opened the windows and let the water in, causing the flood, which cause mountains to heave, volcanoes to erupt, continents to shift and then He closed the windows. Water also came up from the deep.

  • 16. P wave and S wave shadows in Seismology - I cant answer this, I don't know enough about it.

  • 17. Why subterranean seismic waves arrive more quickly than surface waves. I don't know.

  • 18. What Meteorites are and where do they come from. They could be Angels. The Stars are referred to as Angels, and Fallen Stars are referred to as the rebellious angels. What does a Fallen / Falling star look like as it comes down from heaven? A meteorite? Shooting Star? Could NASA or The Air Force drop some stuff that looked like a falling star? I mentioned about the Firmament from number 15. Operation Fish Bowl they tried to blow up the firmament. Could pieces of the Firmament be falling down from time to time? When sulfur rained down from heaven on Sodom and Ghamorra, what did that look like? There are chunks of this laying all around those cities.

  • 19. Apparent retrograde of the planets. The Bible calls them wandering stars. All the stars are placed IN the firmament. Stars are angels according to the Bible. So if you believe the Bible, then planets are not what we have been told they are. If they are Angels, then they do and go where they are told and allowed to go.

  • 20. Stellar Paralax and why different pole stars have been recorded over centuries I am going to highly doubt the accuracy of this theory, but stars can move, they are Angels. So either way, I have an answer that fits with all my other answers.

  • 21. How Solar and Lunar Eclipses happen. This is a very good question, one of the best on this list. Could the sun be rotating arounf the earth a bit higher than the Moon? Yes. A good point to note on this Solar Eclipse model is why is the path of the shadow caused only 70 miles? If the moon is as large as they say it is, and the sun is as far away as they say it is. I have heard their answers. It does not line up. Lunar eclipses - remember I said that the moon most likely is a projection of some kind, it also just vanishes into the atmosphere and you just see sky. They have seen stars through the apparent roundness of the moon in half phase where they see stars through the dark half of the moon. If the moon is a projection, which we will be able to soon see more evidence of, then this makes perfect sense.

  • 22. The size of the Umbra and Penumbra of a Solar Eclipse. The fact that it is so small is one thing. Picture models explaining this represent this huge Sun, creating angles from the top of the sun to the top of the moon and from the Bottom of the sun to the bottom of the moon, and on the small moon portrayed on the models, which throws shadows on the earth of a smaller size., but the ratio is way off. When you look up, are the sun and moon different sizes? The ratio of space between the moon and earth is also off on these models, the moon would need to literally KISS the earth, which should cause a shadow nearly the same size of the moon. It's not even close.

  • 23. The speed and track of a solar eclipse I don't see the difference in the flat earth model, but to explain the height of the sun and the height of the moon is what we need to do, which is also the rough height of the firmament and we don't have this exact measurement YET. Is there another object causing this? Does reflection of the moon have somethings to do with this? When Jesus Died the sun was darkened for 3 hours. Explain that away. Eclipses do not last that long. How did the sun go backwards in the sky, also in the Bible. Ever go 1000 mph and hit the brakes? Would you feel that? You do at any speed forward let alone 1000 mph. If the moon is a reflection, is this object the back side of what we never get to see? Food for thought. More coming about the moon soon.

  • 24. Why lunar eclipses are seen globally and solar eclipses are not. The reflection of the moon reflects the light differently than the sun's light. I am being consistent with this theory. The Sun does not light up the moon consistently across the sky by the angle it's at.

  • 25. The sizes and distances to the Sun and Moon - See 23. If the same theory about the moon is true and it is a reflection, then this would explain this.

  • 26. Lunar Phases If the same theory about the moon is true and it is a reflection, then this would explain this.

  • 27. Tides The interesting thing about tides is that they have been proven to not have anything to do with the moon. Some areas have 2 high tides and 2 lows per day, many only one, some rise and go down many many feet, other areas just a little bit. The best thing I have heard about tides is that there are springs from the deep, and if we go with the Creation model from God, the flood was caused by springs from the deep and the opening of the heavenly windows in the firmament. This makes more sense for tides. But you can search out a map of tides on the earth and you will see tides going up 5 hours after the moon goes by and you will see other areas going down, at all different kinds of times, and the killer is the multiple high tides in some areas.

  • 28. Gravity If something is heavier than air it falls. If it is denser than air it falls.

  • 29. Aurora Borealis and Aurora Australis We see this happen, Obviously, whatever causes it, Light bouncing off the charged particles from the sun's resonance of the earth...? Well the Bible says the throne of God, above the firmament is like an emerald green. The sea of glass like crystal in front of the throne would reflect light in an amazing way. What is the firmament made of? It has to be thick and strong to hold up water. What would light look like reflecting through water and crystal? I think the light bouncing off the firmament is doing it. We may see more northern light than they do southern light because of the dome's center above the North Pole near Polaris, which is where God's throne would be. The Southern lights then would be caused by being near the firmament on it's way down beyond the ice walls.

  • 30. The purpose of a massive conspiracy to hide the shape of the earth Well there are a few indeed! For one, and the biggest one is God. It tries to hide God's creation and there is a war going on between Satan and God. 2. Money and Power, World global dominance, ushered in by a One World Order. That control can only happen because they have blocked out God, but those who see the truth and understand creation are not fooled, but sadly many have been fooled. Not everyone working for NASA is in the know. They are all shown what we have been shown. Watch those astronots from the 60's and 70's. They lied folks. They would not even swear on a bible for $5,000 cash to their own charity that the earth is a globe. They got defensive and combative. It does not add up that they ALL acted that way.

    A great deception that will fool even the very elect. Are there many deceptions? Yes. Man says we evolved from Apes and have no purpose or hope in the afterlife. God says he created us and the Earth and because Jesus conquered the grave, we can repent of our sin and be washed clean so that we do have a blessed hope in eternity and a purpose. Man says Globe Earth is traveling superfast through Deep space, God says Circle or Face of the Earth that does not Move all within a firmament. And that he created the Sun, Moon and Stars days after he created the Earth, what did the earth do for those few days, hang out and wait?

    About the Flat, Motionless Earth Itself

    About the Firmament

    About Heavens Above the Firmament

    The LORD sitteth upon the flood; yea, the LORD sitteth King for ever. Psalms 29:10

    About the Waters and the Earth Beneath

    He hath compassed the waters with bounds, until the day and night come to an end. The pillars of heaven tremble and are astonished at his reproof. Job 26:10-11

    In the six hundredth year of Noah’s life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened. Genesis 7:11

    The fountains also of the deep and the windows of heaven were stopped, and the rain from heaven was restrained; Genesis 8:2

    When he prepared the heavens, I [was] there: when he set a compass upon the face of the depth: When he established the clouds above: when he strengthened the fountains of the deep: When he gave to the sea his decree, that the waters should not pass his commandment: when he appointed the foundations of the earth: Proverbs 8:27-29

    The way of life is above to the wise, that he may depart from hell beneath. Proverbs 15:24
